Purpose: Friends Calendar 2008 Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m. in the library’s Community Room. No meetings are held during July and December. Special
Events and Activities sponsored by the Friends To
register and for further details on these events, please consult our
program calendar on the library’s web page. Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m.
Annual Meeting:
Volunteer recognitions and entertainment. The general
public is invited to attend, including families. The entertainment
will begin at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at noon - Fifth Annual
Souper Crockpot Luncheon Wednesday, April 22 through Saturday, April 26 - Annual Book Sale Membership &
Activities: The
annual membership fee is $5.00 for those 60 or older, $8.00 for
individuals and families and $25 for Xerox Federal Credit Union
applicants. It is not necessary to
participate in the volunteer activities of the Friends to be a
member. We welcome your financial and moral support. Please join us to help
stimulate and promote interest in the Webster Public Library.
To become a member of the Friends of the Webster Public Library, please complete the membership form. Print it out and send it to the address noted at the top of the form. Members are
eligible for membership in the Xerox
Federal Credit Union. Friends
also qualify for group rate memberships in the Webster
Community Partnership. Volunteering: There are opportunities for members to participate in various volunteer programs of the Friends, if they wish. Some of our activities include an annual book sale, our lobby book sale that is open every day, and assisting library staff with programs. Officers:
