Membership & Activities:
It is not necessary to participate in the volunteer activities of the Friends to be a member.  Membership is open to all and the annual membership fee is $5.00 per individual or family.  Each adult member has voting privileges and is requested to attend the annual meeting.  We welcome your financial and moral support.  If, however, you are interested in being a volunteer for WPL, please complete the online membership form or the print version.  Submit it online or print it out and send it to Lisa Wemett, Assistant Director.

Benefits: Benefits of membership include ordering books and other library materials at a library discount.  Friends members are also eligible for membership in the Xerox Federal Credit Union.  Friends also qualify for group rate memberships in the Webster Community Partnership, including free classes at the Aquatic Center.

Volunteering: There are opportunities for members to participate in various volunteer programs of the library, if they wish.  Some of our activities include an annual book sale, our lobby book sale that is open every day, representing the library at community events, and assisting library staff with programs.  To see our list of current volunteer possibilities, please fill out the membership form as directed.  For further information about the Friends group, please call Lisa Wemett at the library at 872-7075.
